On November 3, 2026, the first Tuesday of November, the whole nation votes for their representatives in the House and one-third of the Senate. This date is set by the Constitution for the entire country. In Mississippi, some voters will also see other local candidates on their ballots. Registered voters do not need to choose a party at this time, unlike in a primary election. They may vote for any candidate and even “mix or match” party choices if they wish.
The Secretary of State posted a statewide sample ballot (included below) dated 09-Sep-2026. It lists every federal, judicial and special-election race in the state.
For the exact ballot at one address, the SOS’s My Election Day portal gives a personal sample ballot and the polling place. That’s probably the best link for your specific voter guide.
In addition, we’ve included a list of candidates we are aware of in Mississippi along with their official campaign websites. You may find it easiest to search or filter this large list by Level, Office, District, or Party.
